Whoops! How do Mums keep on top of this whole blogging thing?
Life is going well for our little family. We're now living with the in-laws (not as bad as it sounds thankfully but still I feel awkward) and then soon to be living with my Mum (but only whilst her fiance is away on business) and then back to the in-laws and then WHO KNOWS. But I'm trying to make the most of it, I would say we're saving except I was hit up with two huge bills (including passports - don't be lazy and get a new passport within your first year of marriage if you're changing your name!) but soon we'll be putting a lot into savings.
Abi went through the same thing Jess.
ReplyDelete40 minute sleep cycles were my nightmare!
It gets better, I promise! Today I had to actually wake Abi after well over 2 hours! If I didn't there would be no way she would sleep tonight!
All this moving you are doing! Wieners! And with a little one too! Well done on keeping sane. Blogging should be the last of your worries!
Take care

2hrs...yay Abi! I'm looking forward to when he's out of this phase (that and the constant feeding) but at the same time have to force myself not to wish it away!
DeleteI hear you on the living with family, it hasn't been too bad but I'm glad there are only 22 days to go.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the saving.
Fantastic that it's almost over and you're moving into your own HOME! So exciting, is your head already filled with new home projects?
DeleteOh yes, we had the dreaded 40 minute sleep cycles... I just thought that was how it was going to be forever because everyone else's baby slept for hours!! Sienna is now 12 months old and since crawling (around 7 months) she has slept longer and longer. Now everyone's babies are going down to one nap where as Sienna slept for 2 hours this morning and an hour and half this afternoon. Bliss (but I still feel tired). Hang in there, it gets better. Let us know when you need some virtual hugs xxx
ReplyDeleteThank you :) its good to know that there's always a positive to look forward to. I understand still feeling tired though, Logan slept through last night 9-630 but I'm still exhausted. Why is it that a good proper sleep still leaves you feeling tired!?
ReplyDeleteHi Jess, I've been trying to comment on here for ages! Hopefully this works today!
ReplyDeleteI hear you about about short sleep cycles and blogging. I think it's tough especially when you hear other babies 'sleep through for 3 hours' during the day etc. Lily was a grumpy baby too so really needed assistance to sleep or otherwise she would scream her lungs out.
I found as she got older, she was consuming more food and moving around more and started sleeping longer during the day. I think I mentioned before that I had to structure her days more around a 'routine' so she knew the cues that it was ready to go to bed. And I really felt the blockout blind helped too (we still have it up!). Hang in there it does get better. And if it doesn't, try Ngala - I've heard great things about them.
I reckon it's the iPad (if you're using one) mine freezes up if I try to scroll or do anything whilst writing a comment! Plus to comment on your blog I need to view it under 'normal' settings which is a bummer!
DeleteGood to hear it got better for you and that I'm not the only one with a grumpy bub! As I write this Logan and Hubby are napping together haha I wish I could sleep during the day!
